While solar seems like an obvious option, I will make few arguments against it. One, it continues to show that it is impossible to gather energy 24/7 and with unpredictable weather conditions, it shows it's weakness. Also, the costs of installation and of maintenance is much more frequent and is overall a much poorer investment than other sources of power.
